Abu Galoum Protectorate – A Natural Treasure
Situated between Dahab and Nuweiba, the Abu Galoum Protectorate spans approximately 500 square kilometers (350 km² land and 150 km² marine).
It is famous for its ecological diversity, including:
• Marine ecosystems with coral reefs, sea grasses, and marine life.
• Desert and mountain ecosystems with various wild animals, birds, and plants.
• Around 165 plant species, 44 of which are endemic to the area.

This protectorate is ideal for diving, safari trips, bird watching, and exploring its unique underwater cave system, which extends to depths of over 100 meters.
